The History of Veterans Park

The History of Veterans Park is available in booklet form at North St. Paul City Hall. It is a complimentary gift to all who purchased a paver in Veterans Park since the beginning and for new purchases. Please provide the name of the veteran inscribed on each paver for our records. You can purchase copies of the book here and pick them up at North PST Paul City Hall (address listed below).

Memorial Pavers Honoring Our Heroes
Honor any U.S. Veteran who provided honorable
military service by purchasing an engraved paver stone.

Please note: Pavers are installed once annually in the month of August,
the last day to order your paver for the install is June 1st.
Any paver purchased after June 1st will be held and installed with the following year’s group.

Placement & Replacement

Pavers are placed randomly in the three memorial red striped areas or may be requested to be side-by-side or rows with the other pavers of family or comrades. Written special requests will be considered by the Veterans Park, Inc.

The Veterans Park, Inc.(VP) is responsible for replacing cracked pavers. Contact VP for the replacement policy.

Moving a Paver

Requests to move a paver that has already been installed, to a new location, must have a paper request signed by the original purchaser of that paver. The request will be mailed to or dropped at NSP City Hall desk. The Veterans Park Committee will consider the request and respond only to the original purchaser of that particular paver.

Donations & Planned Giving

All donations are welcomed support have been established for recognition in addition to the pavers. The three levels are listed below. Choose your level, click the donate button and enter the amount you wish to donate.

Levels include:
    Bronze - $250
    Silver - $500
    Gold - $1,000

The North St. Paul Veterans Park is a 501(c)3 organization. Anyone who wishes to make a financial gift to the North St. Paul Veterans Park may do so through Will, Trust, Bequest, Retirement Account, Life Insurance, Bank and Brokerage Accounts or simply a memorial gift.

Collaboration

The North St. Paul Veterans Park is a joint effort of American Legion Post, VFW Post 1350, North High Air Force JROTC, City of North St. Paul.

3 lines of 18 characters/line (including spaces)
line 1 - name of veteran
line 2 - military rank and branch of military service
line 3 - can specify a conflict, (i.e. WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Civil War, etc. or years in service i.e 1942-1946)
other items may be written but will be reviewed by the committee (i.e. KIA, MIA, POW, PH for Purple Heart, etc.)

6 lines of 18 characters/line (including spaces)
A logo or approved icon takes up 3 lines
There must be a honorarium to veterans included if it is a commercial or business paver.
Families may purchase a group paver and includes family members
Includes veterans organizations such as:
Disabled American Veterans Chapter 2, American Legion Post 39, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1350, Pearl Harbor Survivors, etc.
